Will my non-permanent hair dye stain after every shampoo?

I dyed my hair a reddish tint with a non-permanent hair dye. I want to know if the dye will stain every time I shampoo. Thanks.Will my non-permanent hair dye stain after every shampoo?
I find it does for the first 3-4 washes then stops.
