I don't think u can

have u tried tree tea oil shampoo it is supposed to make ur hair like non oily and very smooth, what I do is do a rinse of that then a rinse of herbal enssences shampoo then the conditioner it keeps my hair smooth and non oily 4 days! Can i get prescribed shampoo for oily hair?
Make sure you rinse the conditioner out really really well. It helps. That happens to me too, especially if I don't use the right conditioner. I've been through so many shampoos/conditioners trying to prevent this. The one that works best for me is Matrix Biolage. It's pricey, but it works, at least for me. It rinses out really well, and I think that's my problem. No matter how much I rinse, other conditioners just don't come out.

I've never had it bad enough to ask my doctor, but you can just call the office to ask. You don't have to wait for your next appointment. They may need to see you for it, but to just at least find out if they have one, just call and ask. You could also ask you hair stylist. She may know what can be used or done that you haven't tried yet. Good luck with this. I know how frustrating it can be. Do you style your hair? Styling your hair, doesn't have to be fancy or extensive, can help. Especially if you use a bit of hair spray. That's supposed to help soak up some oils.
I know that you can get prescription for some dandruff shampoos, because they are not to be sold free.

shampoo for oily hair on pres? never heard of that.

still, I think you've simply got the wrong series, or the wrong conditioner.
