Is it recommended that I buy the shampoo AND the conditioner together?

I was considering buying volumizing shampoo by Sunsilk, and it always tells you to use the conditioner along with it for '; full effect. ';





Is that just one big marketing strategy or what?Is it recommended that I buy the shampoo AND the conditioner together?
Oh, yes, of course it's a marketing tool. Do you think they would ever recommend that you NOT buy anything??





All the products have pretty bottles, nice colours, fragrance, anything to make you buy it. It may not be any good, but you think it does, so that is all that matters.





Does it matter if you use something else with any product? Certainly not. They are all the same stuff.... and they really don't do much to help, but they usually don't make it worse. Buy whatever you can afford.Is it recommended that I buy the shampoo AND the conditioner together?
I think it really has anything to with it! Every conditioner is the same. Its the shampoo that does the effect because you use conditioner only on the ends:) So you can use a different shampoo and a different conditioner like I do, and it's perfect:)

No. The brands That mix the conditioner and shampoo together are ridiculous, because you have no idea of the amount of both that you are putting in your hair. And Sunsilk telling you to buy both is absolute, complete crap. Its a major, major marketing strategy so they make more money.
Yes... both of these products will have the same medicated affect and the outcome will be more stronger. Mixing up conditioner and Shampoo will just leave your hair drier and worn out, from all the different types of chemicals....





Need one example: Dove Shampoo mixed with Panteen Conditioner
it depends on your hair type.


if your hair is dry and/or frizzy, i would recommend buying the conditioner, but if your hair is normal or somewhat oily, then just the shampoo is fine.
No way!! Well shouldnt get a shampoo that makes your hair sleek and a conditioner than makes your hair full of volume. You need to choose the shampoos and conditioners that best fit your hair condition.
Well the conditioner also has something that helps volumize your hair inside it. So that's why they are made to work together. They're a team :)
