I'm a guy, and my hair is about 4.5 - 5.5 inches long. Its wavy and i think its medium in thickness. I am currently using my sisters shampoo and conditioner which is vive pro, fine, mid-length/long hair. When i wash my hair its great the first day. But the next day after i come out of the shower (without getting it wet) it seems to group together, my scalp and hair are very oily and it smells bad. Am i using the right shampoo? If not which one should i use? Also, how can i get rid of the oily hair? What type of shampoo should i use?
you should be using a oily hair shampoo and conditioner- daily something with camomile in it . go to a hairdressing salon and ask for something professional or look for oily hair types on btls in shop. What type of shampoo should i use?

Use ';Mane And Tail'; shampoo.
It was originally used for horses to give it a nice shine and keep it from being oily and it helps growth but humans started using it.
It makes your hair healthy, gives it a nice shine, and promotes hair growth.
You should not condition and wash your hair every day because it will cause it to become oily and your scalp will produce too many oils because when you wash it, it dries it up. ( Kindof like if you wash your face too much, your skin produces more than enough oils because it is so dry )
So get Mane And Tail,
Its very good for your hair.
also,
1. Wash your hair every other day if you can.
2. Only condition maybe 1-2 times a week.
Hope I helped!
Happy washing.
In my opinion the brand does not actually matter that much. Just make sure whatever you get does not say moisturizing on the container, that will make your hair more oily. Also, I don't know if you are using a conditioner, but try washing your hair without using conditioner. If your hair is too tangley without conditioner, try using a smaller amount. But if you do want help with a particular brand, I like Treseme. It really is less expensive and works great.
Maybe your hair is oily because you use to much conditonar. Try Pantene my bf uses it and his hair looks great!

Whats happening is when you get in the shower the humidity is making your hair go all wierd, it does it to mine too. My hair hates humidity! And I also have oily hair...so I reccomend you use John Frieda's weather works line( the shampoo, conditioner + leave in cream). And wash your hair every other day if not every day.
You might be using too much conditioner. Make sure you don't use it at the roots or on the top of your head, just at the ends. I had a problem like that and found out I was using too much conditioner.
